Last October was announced with fanfare that the Amazons DC Comics, Wonder Woman, would make the leap to television in a live-action series and David E. Kelley as a writer and producer of the series. A couple of months later, in mid-December, Kelley himself said that so far confirmed their participation was not in the series, and was simply working on a draft, but would still to see what the outcome is and if they like the parties involved. The information comes today is that the series could stand at the moment.
Although there is no script of the series, the big problem is having the Amazon is no string you want the project. Apparently, the serial mean big costs, and no chain wants to make his own version of the series "Bionic Woman" (a comparison that makes some sites like Entertainment Weekly). It all happened last Wednesday, when he presented the project to different chains. As it turns out, Fox has moved the project, WBTV (CW's younger sister) can not permit, CBS failed to reach an agreement and NBC is going through a series of structural problems that prevent him from undertaking the project. The only string that would fit (for the issue to be led by a woman) would be ABC, but the problem is that Disney is owned by ABC, and obviously, having spent the past year Disney 4 billion dollars Buy Marvel, they will not give in its chain a series of Marvel's most direct competition.
What causes this? Well, the Wonder Woman series on momentarily canceled in hopes that maybe in the future, return to your idea as there is already a first script. A shame
